OUTDOOR FESTIVAL: XRoads41 & ROCK DETOUR

XRoads41 was a standout show for us, featuring a d&b KSL-Series audio system on a Stageline SAM 575. The system was designed to provide the power, clarity, and coverage needed for a large outdoor festival while supporting a lineup that ranged from country to full-scale rock. One of the biggest additions this year was a Sunday rock show, Rock Detour, bringing a different level of energy and another set of demands to the audio system. Across the weekend, the KSL-Series delivered consistent coverage and plenty of impact while giving each touring audio team a strong system to work with.

Tour: REO Speedwagon

Taking our d&b audio system on tour around the country with REO Speedwagon was an incredible opportunity to put our gear and crew to work in a wide variety of venues and environments. Every stop brought a different room, different acoustics, and its own set of challenges, requiring the audio team to adapt while still delivering a consistent experience night after night. Supporting a legendary rock band like REO Speedwagon meant the system needed to have the clarity and reliability expected from a major touring production. It was a great showcase of not only our audio capabilities, but our ability to take those capabilities on the road and deliver from one city to the next.

Event: Wedding

We provided audio for a beautiful Minnesota wedding reception. Our job was to make sure everything sounded great from the speeches through the last song of the night. It was a great night with a packed dance floor. It was a nice change of pace from the big concert and festival stages we’re used to, and a good reminder that sometimes a smaller setup can be just as fun to be a part of.

Neon signage and advertisements, including the Target logo and a festive graphic with the text "Win! Twins!" are visible above the stage. The background features city buildings with illuminated windows.

Concert: TC Summer SERIES

In 2023, Slamhammer provided the audio system for two nights of concerts at Target Field featuring The Killers, The Flaming Lips, Death Cab for Cutie, Imagine Dragons and more. Our team deployed a large-format d&b audiotechnik KSL system, including left and right main arrays, outfills, and three delay positions extending coverage deep into the venue. Careful system design, alignment, and tuning were critical to making all of those elements work together as one cohesive system, delivering the clarity, power, and even coverage expected by national touring artists and their engineers across a challenging stadium environment.
